H₂O Solutions provides portable exchange deionization services for customers requiring reliable production of high purity DI water. H2O Solutions operates its own resin regeneration facility in Telford, Pennsylvania. Each batch of mixed-bed resin is tested for quality and capacity and identified for traceability through the regeneration process. Dedicated tanks and resins are also available for applications requiring vessels and resin designated exclusively for a customer facility.

Electrodeionization combines ion-exchange resin and membrane technologies with electrical current to continuously remove dissolved ions from water. EDI is frequently incorporated as a polishing step following reverse osmosis and can provide an alternative to chemically regenerated mixed-bed ion exchange for appropriate applications. Because regeneration occurs continuously through electrical current, EDI can reduce chemical handling while providing consistent high purity water production.
